Reminders: Parent-teacher conferences are on Wednesday, March 26. If you have not sent in a time yet, please email me. Conference times will be sent out soon!
*Act of Contrition prayer cards can be found on Google Classroom*Please send in an extra help form the day before the extra help.*Lego club is on Wednesdays.

-Orange H.W. notebook- Where the children complete their spelling H.W.
-Blue Agenda notebook- Where the children write down the H.W. assignments for that night in school.
-Please keep H.W. helpers, test signature sheet, and reading logs in folders.
-Please sign H.W. and readings logs every night-The children will bring home the week's homework sheet every Monday to show you important updates/reminders, test dates, homework assignments, and the spelling, high-frequency, & vocabulary words. Please take out everything in your child's folder except the H.W. sheet, reading log, homework helpers, and signature sheet.If you have any questions please let me know! -

*This week the children will learn words with r-controlled vowels.
Spelling Homework- Practice your prayers, the Our Father, Hail Mary, and Act of Contrition before bed. Reading H.W. is every day for 20 minutes. Please log it in the reading log. Study your spelling, vocabulary, and high-frequency words.
Tuesday 3/17: Write spelling words 4x each & math review page, study S.S.
Wednesday 3/18: Put the spelling words in the right category (are, air, ear, ere) & write 2x each, & math review page, study S.S.
Thursday 3/19: *S.S. quiz, Write 4 sentences with 1 vocabulary word in its’ own sentence(Try to add the HFW), math review page
Friday 3/20: *Math test, No homework!
HFW: cheers, knew, never
Vocabulary: pale, excite, antonyms, alliteration
pale- light in color
excite- to stir up
antonyms- repeating same sounds at the beginning of words
alliteration- words that have the opposite meanings -
